- Technical inspection of MREGS works.
- Verification of compliance report of inspection report & further actions to be taken over.
- Scrutiny of technical items incase of misappropriation cases.
- Administrative Approval to be given for revised estimate of works upto Rs. 75 Lakh
- Furnish technical information about works done under MREGS to EGS Committee meeting & District Level meeting.
- To monitor the works under MREGS correspondence regarding technical aspects,Scrutiny of draft tender papers etc.

- To Verify prepare inspection report and follow up compliance report regarding irregularities and misappropriations shown in inspection reports.
- Irregularities and misappropriations shown in inspection reports of Comptroller and Accountant General to be complied by District Collector to be followed up.
- To review and control of reconciliation works done by District Collector.
- To supervise Funds released to implementing agencies.
- As a member of Divisional Flying Squad to supervise MREGS Works.

- Reconcilation of accounts of Dy.Commissioner (EGS)
- To verify all financial bills submitted by
accounts clerk, preparation of office budget .
- Reconcilation works with district collectors
representatives in A.G.Office and submit

Account Officer.
- To follow up compliance about irregularities
and misappropriations shown in
inspection reports of Comptroller and
Accountant General to be complied by District
Collector and furnish through Account Officer

- To compile and rectify the cases of flying squad regarding Thane/Raigad/Ratnagiri/Sindhudurg Districts involved implementing agencies.
- Regarding MREGA Works to consolidate various statements and prepare booklet for monthly meeting of District collector,C.E.O.Z.P.
- To prepare notes for E-Conference meeting.
- To assist N.T. in Right to Information act.
- Preparation of Notes for secretariat, ministerial,and EGS Committee monthly and quarterly review meeting.
- To write off plant and machineries provided under EGS scheme to all implementing agencies.
